A Wondrous Place: A digital conversation about the North
What’s the soundtrack to your town or city? The top ten words you only hear in your town? Our special festival project will be exploring how we understand and perceive the north of England. Come and join Northern Spirit’s artists, writers and bloggers at the Gala Studio for a lively interactive workshop inspired by their online archive of words, music, sounds and images generated by passionate people across the North and participate in activities inspired by their digital archive and talk to bloggers from four different regions.
In the weeks running up to the festival, we’ll be handing over the Northern Spirit blog at www.northernspirit.org.uk to bloggers from the North West, Yorkshire, and the North East. Together they’ll explore their personal ideas about the North and as the festival peaks we’ll open the blog to everyone. Our bloggers will be in residence at the Town Hall on 27 and 28 October.
